Rev. Dr. Garry E. Milley - Lead Pastor
Garry E. Milley was born and raised in Newfoundland. He is the eldest son of the late Pastor E. R. Milley. In his early years in the ministry, Garry served as chaplain to Memorial University, pastored Bethel Pentecostal Church in Grand Bank and then came back to St. John’s as the Program Director for Youth for Christ. In 1981 the Board of Governors of EPBC asked him to come to teach.
For the past 25 years he has been a Professor of Church History. He is the author of several books and many articles. He has national and international experience as a Bible conference and camp meeting speaker.
His wife Christine is from St. John’s. She is a graduate of Eastern Pentecostal Bible College. She is a gifted children’s teacher and pastoral care worker. They have three adult children, Erika (Mrs. Jonathan Massimi), Andrew and Philip.
Matthew J. Reimer - Youth and Outreach Pastor
Matthew Reimer joined the staff of Park Avenue August 2006 as Youth/Assistant pastor. A graduate of Master's College & Seminary, Matthew desires to see the youth of this area impacted by the gospel and discipled into devoted followers of Christ. He is married to Amanda, a graduate of Master's who ministers beside him. They have two dogs and love being in Mount Pearl
Philip M. Bailey- Music/Children's Pastor
Philip Bailey recently joined the staff of Park Avenue Pentecostal Church August 2007. Philip is a graduate of Master's College. Philip has served as youth/music pastor in Creston North and as senior pastor in New Harbour. Philip has a passion to lead people in worship and to reach with the gospel the children in the area. Philip is married to Trudy and have one child, Hannah.
